Judging 101 by Linda Wilhelm

This was a fascinating & beautifully prepared Power Point presentation on AOS awards and what judges look for. CCOS members had the opportunity to practice what we learned by "judging" slides of actual awarded plants.

Linda co-owns Woodland Orchids (Charlotte, NC) with her husband Rolf Wilhelm and is a member of the AOS Information Committee and a judge in training.
Rolf & Linda brought along many orchids, including these lovely Miltonias, for sale.

Christine won the Best Show and Tell prize for February 2002 with her huge Dendrobium nobile. The prize was an orchid seedling.

Sharon Brown won the October 2001 First Bloom contest with her Den. Super Ise. The prize was a blue ribbon and a $25 check.

Every month, members bring orchids to the Show & Tell table.
